We are excited to release a new beer, a collaboration with our good friends from Fanø Bryghus.
This dark, roasted beauty is all candied citrus peel and dark fruit on the nose that then transitions to dark chocolate and roast characters with a balanced, bright hoppy finish, once it hits your pallet.
Åndesyn is light bodied but full flavour, bringing an easy drinking experience to this collectively beloved style of beer (a humble nod to The Kernel).
When coming up with the name for this beer, we were inspired by a text written by the Danish illustrator, painter and writer, Achton Friis, who wrote about the Nightjar (AKA Gedemelker or Goatsucker) when he visited Fanø. This is the crepuscular bird so wonderfully depicted by @runebodker on the label.
