The NIGHTMARE before CHRISTMAS beers - 31/10/24

This year's ØJ Dag (Ølentusiasternes Jule Dag) falls on October 31st, that's HALLOWEEN!

It is all very confusing when two seasonal holidays collide. So why not let them collide in a spectacular fashion?!

THE MOVIES:

Night of the Living Dead (1968)
George A. Romero's classic and hugely influential zombie flick. The movie that spawned a million imitators...

Features terror, paranoia and relevant political commentary.
"The original and the best"

Vampyr (1932)
Danish director, Carl Theodor Dreyer’s masterful Vampyr straddles the line between silent and sound pictures, using the visual language of the former to amplify the terrifying atmosphere of the vampire film and bring its horrors into the new age of sound cinema.
Features blood sucking, fear, and surrealism.
"A strange, unsettling nightmare of a film"
